Application Cases of RFID Tag Static Control

RFID tags

Problem:

The RFID tag is unrolled and cut off on a roll before being applied to the product. The electrostatic discharge electrode is easy to damage the label. During the process, the static electricity needs to be well controlled. The static electricity generated during the unwinding process will exceed the allowable level of RFID or security tags, resulting in the following related problems:

1. The static charge blows to the RFID chip and causes the RFID chip to fail.

2. The operator received an uncomfortable electric shock.

3. Absorb dust and other pollutants carried by the air.

Solution:

The ion fan installed towards the gap between the rollers keeps the reel in the range of ionized air, which can neutralize the static electricity on the reel and prevent the accumulation of charge. Further electrostatic neutralization is required before reaching the interceptor. In this case, two ion bars (one on each side) should be installed on both sides of the roll, as shown in the figure, before performing the cutter operation.
